The name Gri̽jo̠l-fo̠hë Ner is derived from the Wood Elvish language, as Gri̽jo̠l-fo̠hë Ner was founded by Èqtêtê Chebedric, who was culturaly Wood Elven.
Climate
Gri̽jo̠l-fo̠hë Ner has a yearly average temperature of 7°C (44°F), with its average temperature during the summer being an icy 25°C (77°F) and its average temperature during the winter being a freezing -10°C (14°F). Gri̽jo̠l-fo̠hë Ner receives an average of 273 cm/y (107 in/y) of precipitation, most of which comes in the form of snow during the pleasantly short winter months. Gri̽jo̠l-fo̠hë Ner covers an area of nearly 5 km2 (2 mi2), and an average elevation of 3582 m (11751 ft) above sea level.
Overview
Gri̽jo̠l-fo̠hë Ner was founded durring the early 13th century in winter of the year 1201, by Èqtêtê Chebedric. The establishment of the new community went well, though many minor issues had to be solved as time went on. This was enough to delay construction and push back the formal opening ceramony, leading to some embarisment for Èqtêtê Chebedric.
Gri̽jo̠l-fo̠hë Ner was built using the conventions of Wood Elven durring the early 13th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Gri̽jo̠l-fo̠hë Ner is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature timber framed wooden shiethed or brick construction, which gives form to a very formalized, rational, expence effishent arcatectural style based on strictly symmetrical designs which universaly feature pitched roofs, shutters, and the occasional column or pilaster for a decorative touch.
Gri̽jo̠l-fo̠hë Ner is buildings are arranged arround a network of premissive flagstone streets which form a diamond shaped grid, where each diamond verries in size given the proximity of the paralell streets forming each section. The ocasional smaller diamond has been used to construct a park, plaza, and other communal structures. The town is protected by a humble stone fence which is tall enough to provide adiquite cover for defenders to fire from, but no more than that. The town's peasent-grade are visibly old, but also obviously maintained semi-regularly. Its likly the local malishia or garrison are tasked with ocasional mantance of the towns defences.
Gri̽jo̠l-fo̠hë Ner is not quite well. Something happened here, perhapse recently, perhapse long ago. Whatever it was, it settled into the very soul of the town like a festering wound. The people go about their day well enough, but there’s a tention in the air you can cut with a knife.
Civic Infrastructure
Gri̽jo̠l-fo̠hë Ner has an Office of Civil Vicary, which is responsible for providing a livelyhood for all officialy recognised religious figures within Gri̽jo̠l-fo̠hë Ner.

Gri̽jo̠l-fo̠hë Ner has a monistary of an order of Civil Monks, who provide divine-related services to the general public and maintain Gri̽jo̠l-fo̠hë Ner's public wards, blessings, and other arcane systems.
Gri̽jo̠l-fo̠hë Ner possesses an older civil lighting system consisting of street lamps. These lights provide nighttime illumination to most city streets.
Gri̽jo̠l-fo̠hë Ner has a Parks and Recreation Department, which is responsible for the construction, management, and usage rights for all of its parks and parklands.
Gri̽jo̠l-fo̠hë Ner has a public schooling program overseen by the Hall of Sages who has the responsibility of ensuring access to affordable high-quality education in all basic classes (Reading, Writing, Mathmatics, General Sciences, General Arcana, and Social Education) is made available to all citizens.
Cultural Notes
A substantial minority of the locals are descended from foreigners alien to their local neighbors. They may have been religious exiles, economic migrants, indigenous locals surrounded by the existing polity, or a foreign settlement conquered within the relatively recent past. The locals may not be enthusiastic about being ruled by others not of their kind, and their neighbors may look askance at the way foreign customs or even laws may be maintained.
Gri̽jo̠l-fo̠hë Ner's bank was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used is best known for its striking sculptural forms and often dazzling ornamental detail that characterizes the buildings general shape. The radiant colors, rich patterns, and symmetrical silhouettes employed by this style were backed up by rich decorative features including gardens, courtyards, extruded arches, domes, pointed domes, vaulted ceilings, elaborate painted and inlaid designs, and decorative sculptures.
Due to the actions of local Kami, winter is skipped in Gri̽jo̠l-fo̠hë Ner.
The Magmin near Gri̽jo̠l-fo̠hë Ner are known to be more aggressive than normal.
Gri̽jo̠l-fo̠hë Ner's citizens partake in a curious ritual relating to their local kami. It takes place in autumn and involves embarking on a group pilgrimage to channel Necromancy energies of tier 3 via oath swearing.
